PRESSING INSTRUCTIONS

SCREEN PRINTS

You need to make sure the transfer is HOT when peeled. 

Do not use a teflon sheet, butcher paper, pillows, carriers or parchment paper

Do not bleach transfers.

Resting periods are always needed so do not press and throw into washing machine.  

Transfers are for Cotton, Polyester and Poly/Cotton materials. 

Please note that seams and raised areas can affect the press.

*A heat gun will tell you if your press is accurate*

Every Heat Press is different, temps and pressure are not always accurate or even so adjusting for your individual press is necessary, we highly recommend a heat gun. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PRESSING ISSUES DUE TO INACCURATE TEMPERATURE OR PRESSURE OR NOT FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS.

Will not work with a home iron or easy press.
Screen prints are all sales final. Due to the number of variety in presses, we are not liable for issues during the pressing process. We press test transfers from each batch before they are put for sale on the website.
 
Screen Print Transfers
Material: Cotton, Poly, or Cotton Blends work best.
Pressure: 60PSI – MEDIUM TO HIGH PRESSURE
Temperature: 325-345 F *higher temp is recommended for budget presses. Make sure you test press to figure out what works for your press the best.
Press for 7 - 12 seconds, hot peel.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
Below you will find tips and tricks when it comes to pressing transfers and washing garments.

Our transfers are printed with Plastisol inks which are screen printed on to a special release paper. It’s important to understand that when applying the transfer, it is critical the application instructions are followed exactly.
 
IMPORTANT FACTORS INCLUDE :
· Dwell Time
· Application Temperature
· Machine Pressure
Once you apply your transfer with the correct time, temperature and pressure, we recommend you Do Not Wash your garment for at least 24 hours. This allows the ink to completely bond and cure before any laundry detergents break down the ink.
We recommend you machine wash your garment in cold or warm water inside out.
· Tumble Dry in low heat or hang.
· Do not use Chlorine Bleach or Liquid Softener
Your laundry soap may leave a rough
Cheap laundry soaps leave a film on any clothing, consider using
 
LAUNDERING:
Garments with graphics should be washed on cold, inside out and hung to dry.
No Bleach. No Liquid Softener. No ironing.
SIZING:


SUBLIMATION

You need to use a heat press, mug press or toaster oven for sublimation.  You will need to use the temperature and times listed  from your blanks supplier for sublimation transfers as each item is different. 

DTF

* We are using COLD PEEL film *

Set your press to 315 degrees.

Press your shirt for 5-10 seconds and get out all the moisture from the shirt.

Place DTF on desired location and press for 12 seconds.  Wait until cool and peel off.  Then you cover with a carrier/parchment sheet and press for 10 seconds.  

Peel off parchment/carrier sheet and you are done. 

DTF can be used on any Cotton, poly, and more!  You can use on lights and darks as well!
